The leak may be related to the increase in water temperature and the work on pumping fuel oil from the tankers. Against the backdrop of reports about the opening of beaches, there is silence regarding the work on pumping fuel oil from the sunken tankers, users pointed out. Neither the operational headquarters of Kuban nor the government commission for eliminating the consequences of the emergency provides information on the progress of the pumping work. At the end of July, satellites recorded an oil slick near the tanker "Volgoneft-239", as well as a leak from the stern of the tanker "Volgoneft-212".
