Kuban law enforcement reported the detention of a visitor for extremist slogans.

Law enforcement detained a visitor in the village of Poltavskaya who was shouting extremist slogans in the yard of a high-rise building.

The police received a report from residents of the apartment building on International Lane in the village of Poltavskaya that a man was shouting extremist slogans in the yard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory reported today.

"Employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory, together with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoarmeysky District, identified the offender. He turned out to be a 29-year-old visitor. The man was taken to the police station for further investigation," the statement published today on the agency's website said.

The police drew up a report on the administrative offense against the offender under part 1 of article 20.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation (propaganda or public demonstration of attributes or symbols of extremist organizations), the sanctions of which provide for punishment in the form of a fine or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Krasnodar Regional Court found 62-year-old Sochi resident Natalia Nikolaeva guilty of rehabilitating Nazism and sentenced her to two years of conditional imprisonment for a comment on social media.
