A resident of Sochi has been detained in connection with the terrorist act in Crimea

After the assassination of a high-ranking military sailor in Sevastopol, security forces detained a resident of Sochi, Margarita Reutt. According to sources, the woman confessed to her involvement in the terrorist act.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in July 2025, resident of Sochi Margarita Reutt was fined under the article on discrediting the army due to a malicious comment during a drone attack on the Likhaya station in the Rostov region. According to a court ruling in Hot Key, Reutt was a passenger on the Samara - Adler train, which was stopped at the Likhaya station, and "expressed herself against the people of the Russian Federation and the Russian army" - in particular, she shouted "That's what you get, Russians."

Security forces in Sevastopol detained Margarita Reutt, who had come from Sochi, "on hot trails," shortly after the explosion in the park on Stoletov Avenue. The bomb, hidden in a trash can, detonated as the deputy commander of the separate submarine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, Robert Shageev, was passing by; he died on the spot, reports "Kommersant."

Before 2014, Shageev was the commander of the only Ukrainian submarine "Zaporizhzhia." After joining the Russian Navy, he was accused by Ukraine of treason.

32-year-old Margarita Reutt was detained near the explosion site. It is claimed that she was found with a remote control, which was likely used to trigger the bomb. During interrogation, she confessed to her involvement in the explosion.

"She reported that a curator associated with Ukrainian special services promised to transfer a large sum to her crypto wallet and then provide her with documents so she could leave the country. According to the security officials, the suspect showed no remorse or regret," sources from the publication claim. The resident of Sochi has been charged with terrorism and illegal trafficking of explosives (Articles 205 and 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The Sochi resident was involved in volunteering, in particular, she cleaned beaches of oil in Anapa, notes "Cautiously, News." On Margarita Reutt's social media, her photos from cleaning the shore of oil and from the bird rescue center affected by oil products are published.

Margarita "had bought a ticket from Sochi," she planned to fly abroad, claims Mash. According to the publication, she had recently worked as a biologist and "was engaged in the production of vaginal suppositories with a floral component."
