The name of the deceased fighter from Kalmykia in the zone of the special military operation has been announced.

Senior Lieutenant Artem Loginov was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the special military operation, at least 250 combatants from Kalmykia have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", Anatoly Paukow from the Yashaltinsky district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the special military operation, at least 249 fighters from Kalmykia have been officially recognized as killed.

Loginov was born on April 18, 1979. In 2003, he graduated from Kalmyk State University, obtaining a higher economic education, and also completed training at the military department, where he was awarded the rank of reserve lieutenant, reported the state news agency "Kalmykia".

In 2022, he was called up to participate in the special military operation. He served as a platoon commander in the 20th Guards Division as part of the 33rd Motorized Rifle Berlin Don Cossack Regiment. In November, the unit in which Loginov served was sent to the Kherson direction - to the areas of the villages of Krynk and Kazachye Lagerya.

Later, the unit was redeployed to the South Donetsk direction, in the area of the village of Novomikhailovka, to the fortified area "Zverinets". On July 3, 2023, he was awarded the rank of senior lieutenant.

On July 21, 2023, Senior Lieutenant Loginov was killed in the area of the village of Novomikhailovka. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.

At least 4755 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4795 military personnel from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the special operation in Ukraine.

Thus, at least 250 combatants from Kalmykia have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front.
