As reported by "Caucasian Knot", at the end of June, the case of the paramedic who examined the pupil of a Makhachkala kindergarten shortly before her death and ignored indications for urgent hospitalization was sent to court.

The Khasavyurt department of the Investigative Committee of Dagestan opened a criminal case after the death of the minor child. According to investigators, on August 9, a child was found without signs of life in a cradle in one of the households in Khasavyurt. "With the participation of a forensic expert, an examination of the child's body was conducted, and a forensic examination was appointed," TASS quotes the message from the Investigative Committee of Dagestan.

The child was under the supervision of an aunt, who put him to sleep and tied him with straps, the Investigative Committee clarified. The preliminary cause of death is being considered as mechanical asphyxia, and a criminal case has been initiated for causing death by negligence.

"The baby was at home with his aunt. She fed him, put him to sleep, and secured him with straps. Probably, he woke up, started moving, and suffocated. A criminal case has been initiated against the aunt who was supervising the child," RIA Novosti quotes a source in the press service of the department.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that two educators and a nanny in Makhachkala are accused of being involved in the injury of a girl in a kindergarten. A three-year-old pupil was hospitalized with the diagnosis of "traumatic amputation of the little toe of the right foot."

After the incident, the accused were dismissed from their jobs, and the head of the institution was also fired, while inspections began in all kindergartens in Makhachkala. According to a source, the child's finger was caught in a door, and it "started to tear off, and the educators cut it off completely." At the same time, the finger that was torn off from the girl was placed in her tights, and it fell out at home.
