The names of three killed soldiers from Dagestan have been announced.

Two soldiers from the Suleiman-Stalsky district and a fighter from the Derbent district were killed in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, authorities have acknowledged at least 2060 combatants from Dagestan killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by August 3, officials and security forces officially named the names of at least 2057 killed soldiers from Dagestan in Ukraine.

The administration of the Suleiman-Stalsky district named the three soldiers killed in Ukraine while reporting on the posthumous awards presented to them.

The deceased are Ramidin Gamidov and Magamdali Magomedov from the village of Novaya Maka, as well as Shafi Tagirov from the village of Khazar in the Derbent district. All of them were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, the official Telegram channel of the municipality reported.

The age and biographical details of the soldiers were not provided in the officials' message.

Thus, at least 2060 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".

In July, the administration of the Suleiman-Stalsky district reported that Khalid Kurbanov and Ayubkhan Gamzaev were killed in Ukraine. Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in the number of killed whose names have been officially disclosed by the authorities. Sergey Melikov, who headed Dagestan in February 2022, was the first among the authorities to announce that a Russian soldier had been killed in Ukraine, acknowledging the death of officer Nurmagomed Gadzhimagomedov.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, according to the material from "Caucasian Knot" "Three comrades served: how authorities deprive families of killed volunteers of benefits", which describes the stories of the killed fighters. In particular, the widow of one of the killed reported that without the body, the battalion did not make payments related to the death of the soldier.
