The rise in prices for autogas in Kuban outraged social media users.

In a month, the prices for propane at private gas stations in the Krasnodar region jumped by 40%, while at federal network gas stations they remained unchanged, noted social media users. The number of open gas stations in Krasnodar continues to decrease; this morning at least one type of fuel was available at 60 gas stations, although two days earlier the authorities reported 63 operating gas stations.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on the morning of July 17, AI-95 was only available at 40 gas stations, while at 63 gas stations at least one type of fuel was available; three days earlier, the authorities reported 70 open gas stations. Gas stations where the price per liter is 189 rubles are empty.

"Literally in a month, the retail price of propane rose from 29 rubles to 42 rubles, which is about 40%! At federal gas stations ("Rosneft", "Lukoil", "Gazprom"), the price remains around 30 rubles. It seems there is no official gas crisis and queues at all these gas stations!" — the publication states. It also contains a call to the regional office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service to "look into this issue and stabilize prices".

Regarding the situation with gasoline, the authorities of Krasnodar reported this morning about 60 operating gas stations.

Recall that the fuel crisis in the Krasnodar region provoked a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas cylinder equipment (GCE). The cost of this service has almost doubled, and auto services are booking clients for several months in advance. Along with the excitement, prices for propane have also risen.

Some residents of Kuban stated that they consider switching to gas the only way to reduce expenses. Others are convinced that the current crisis is temporary and will not lead to mass retrofitting of cars.
