The Rostov region and Stavropol were subjected to drone attacks.

During a drone attack in the Krasnosulinsky district of the Rostov region, a wheat field caught fire, and in Stavropol, fires occurred in two industrial zones.

According to the governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusary, about one and a half dozen drones were neutralized last night in Gukovo and Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, as well as in five districts. The air attack affected the Tarasovsky, Aksai, Krasnosulinsky, Kasharsky, and Kamensky districts.

"In the Krasnosulinsky district, as a result of the fall of UAV debris, a fire broke out in the winter wheat field. There are no casualties. The fire has been completely extinguished," Slyusary reported on his Telegram channel.

During the drone attacks in Stavropol, two fires occurred in the industrial zone of the Vyzhniki farm in the Shpakovsky district, and a local emergency regime was introduced. A fire also occurred in the industrial zone in the north of Stavropol, near the border with the Shpakovsky district. According to preliminary data, there are no dead or injured, the governor of the region Vladimir Vladimirov reported today on his Telegram channel.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the southern regions of Russia are regularly subjected to drone attacks. On July 8, during a drone attack on vessels in the Taganrog Bay, two people were injured, and on July 9, during a drone attack, two tankers caught fire. On July 11, four vessels were attacked, one of which was a tanker carrying methanol. A sailor of a technical vessel died.

Drone strikes on vessels in the Taganrog Bay could lock up to 25% of grain exports in the domestic market and lead to pollution of the Azov Sea waters with oil products from tankers damaged in the attacks, analysts surveyed by "Caucasian Knot" indicated.

It should be noted that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in southern Russia, a fuel problem has arisen. Thus, on July 14, a fire occurred at the oil refinery in the village of Afipsky. On June 5, an oil depot caught fire in Ust-Labinsk, requiring the evacuation of residents from nearby houses. On June 2, a fire broke out at an oil refinery in the village of Ilsky in the Seversky district as a result of a drone attack. The fire was extinguished the same day.

The fuel crisis provoked a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas cylinder equipment in southern Russia. Auto services are booking clients for several months in advance, the cost of equipment has nearly doubled, and along with the surge in demand, prices for propane have also risen.
