The number of hospitalized individuals after poisoning in Stavropol has increased to 53.

The condition of 53 hospitalized patients after poisoning is assessed as moderate severity, reported the Ministry of Health of the Stavropol Territory.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in the Novoselitsky district of the Stavropol Territory, 80 people sought medical help with complaints of poisoning symptoms, six of whom were hospitalized. Investigators and prosecutors reported on inspections.

In the Stavropol Territory, 53 people were hospitalized from July 13 to 17 due to poisoning at a recreation center. Cases of acute intestinal infection have also been recorded in 11 residents of other regions of the Russian Federation.

As of 16:00 Moscow time on July 18, 2026, 79 people, including 25 children, sought medical assistance in medical institutions of the Stavropol Territory. The reason for the visit was malaise after staying at the hotel complex in the Novoselitsky district, the Ministry of Health reported on its Telegram channel.

From July 13 to 17, 53 patients were hospitalized in 10 hospitals in the region, while the others are receiving outpatient treatment.

According to the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing as of 16:00 Moscow time on July 18, 2026, cases of acute intestinal infection have also been recorded in 11 residents of other subjects of the Russian Federation.

The condition of the sick is of moderate severity with positive dynamics. Medical assistance is being provided in the necessary volume. Medical monitoring is ongoing," the agency reported.
