A verdict has been issued in the case of the girls' deaths in the Makhachkala quest room.

The court in Makhachkala sentenced the owner of the quest room "House of Horrors" Gusein Ibrahimov and two animators to real prison terms for the death of two visitors during the game.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the case regarding the deaths of two visitors in the Makhachkala quest room "House of Horrors" was transferred to court in November 2024. A few months prior, in September, it became known that all three defendants - the owner of the attraction and two animators - were transferred from pre-trial detention to house arrest.

The Lenin District Court of Makhachkala today announced the verdict for the three defendants in the case of the girls' deaths in the quest room. All three were charged with providing dangerous services that led to the accidental death of two individuals 1 .

The court sentenced the owner of the quest room to five years and six months of imprisonment. One of the animators was sentenced to four years in prison, the second to three years and six months. All three, according to the verdict, must serve their sentences in a general regime colony.

In addition, the two animators are prohibited from organizing quest games and other entertainment events in enclosed spaces for two years after their release. The same ban for the owner of the quest room is set for 2.5 years, the United Press Service of the Dagestan courts reported on its Telegram channel.

The verdict was issued to Gusein Ibrahimov, Shamil Isbagiev, and Rashid Aliyev. According to the case materials, due to the actions of the animators, who used flammable liquid during the game session, a fire broke out, resulting in the deaths of two participants in the game, while another sustained a burn on the left wrist.

The investigation believed that 18-year-old Isbagiev set fire to a glove using a flammable substance during the game, which caused the fire. The second animator, Aliyev, was 17 years old at the time of the tragedy.
