The condition of the children's playground in Nalchik has prompted criticism of the officials' work.

A resident of Nalchik filmed the condition of the children's playground in the yard of his apartment building, as well as the adjacent territory. Judging by the footage, the playground is in unsatisfactory condition, and weeds are growing in the yard. The video was published on July 12 by the Instagram* public chp.nalchik.

"There are many children and nowhere to play, the grass is everywhere. The swings are broken. Microdistrict Strelka, Krylova, 29," the post description says.

This post on the Instagram* public chp.nalchik, which has about 514 thousand followers, had received 156 likes and 59 comments as of 08:50 MSK on July 13. Some of the authors of the comments placed the responsibility for the state of the yard on the officials.

"The state and management companies collect huge amounts in the form of taxes and fees and do nothing. Either they should not collect money, or they should keep everything in order. This is called a contract: you pay – you get a service in return," emphasized the user bambucha.msc.

Another part of the commentators noted that the residents themselves should tidy up the yard. "What is the real problem for a few residents whose children play there to gather and clean up in an hour?" asked haarhus_13.

"Isn't it an option to go out and clean up, to put the yard in order?" wrote ruzi_takova.

"Five people from each entrance, gloves, knives, two hours – and it's clean. But why, when there is just one press on the phone camera?" the user zerkala_07 sarcastically remarked.

Other users also reminded that residents pay for the maintenance of the adjacent territory. "Going out is not a problem, but what are we paying for? Where does the money go? This yard is not the only one – they don't mow on all the streets," wrote irina.beslaneeva_.

"Why are we paying so much money? The more we pay, the less they do for us," noted fenix_3196.

Commentators pointed out the unsatisfactory state of the city as a whole. "The whole city is drowning in garbage and grass. Only a few main streets are cleaned, and that's it. The city used to be much cleaner and prettier," noted the user peterburg_t_m.

Some users reported that the problem of broken playgrounds is also relevant on other streets of the city and in other settlements. "We have the same yard. Aleksandrovka," wrote the user zalka_cake.

"At least you have some playground. We have nothing on Gornaya, the children play on the road. They even removed the only playground near the gallery," complained arkhagova.a.

"Be thankful that at least this exists, we have only thickets," noted hagarova16.
