The damage to agricultural producers in Kuban from the floods exceeded 300 million rubles.

The authorities of the Krasnodar region estimated the damage caused by floods to agricultural land at more than 300 million rubles, with over 8000 hectares of territory flooded.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", at the end of spring - beginning of summer, settlements in several districts of the Krasnodar region were flooded, and people were evacuated in the Krymsky and Slavyansky districts.

The damage to agriculture in the Krasnodar region after the flood is preliminarily estimated to exceed 300 million rubles, TASS reported on July 12, citing the Ministry of Agriculture of Kuban.

According to the agency, the area of flooded agricultural land amounted to 8,240 hectares. The greatest damage was recorded in the Krymsky district, where 7,381 hectares were flooded. Another 859 hectares were flooded in the Slavyansky district.

Seven agricultural organizations and 27 peasant farms found themselves in the emergency zone. The floods damaged crops of winter wheat, sunflowers, corn, soybeans, and other agricultural crops. Subsidies are planned to be provided for support.
