Two servicemen from the Volgograd region were killed in Ukraine

At least 4645 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4705 servicemen from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the special operation in Ukraine.

Orders of Courage were awarded to the families of Alexander Fomichev and Evgeny Kotov, the administration of the Kamyshin district reported today.

Private Evgeny Kotov, born in 1988, died on August 28, 2025. He was buried in the village cemetery in Vodnobuerachny. Senior sailor Alexander Fomichev, born in 1989, was recognized as killed on January 14, 2024.
