A Yeysk resident has been accused of plotting a terrorist attack on a technical college.

The military court in Rostov-on-Don will hear the criminal case of an alleged member of a terrorist organization accused of preparing an armed attack on an educational institution.

The accused, a 21-year-old resident of Yeysk, is accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization 1 and preparing a terrorist attack with the death of 2 people.

According to investigators, between February 1, 2025 and January 7, 2026, the accused joined an international terrorist organization whose goal was to carry out armed attacks on educational institutions.

While planning the attack on the technical school, the young man purchased two knives and studied instructions for making an improvised explosive device and an incendiary mixture. He also drafted a document calling for murder, which he planned to distribute online on the day of the attack on the students and staff of the educational institution, the Krasnodar Krai Prosecutor's Office reported on its Telegram channel.

The name of the terrorist organization, the name of the accused, and his occupation were not disclosed in the agency's statement. Caucasian Knot has no comment from the accused or his lawyer.
