Also, during the attack in the Seversky district of Kuban, the grounds of an oil refinery in the village of Afipsky caught fire.

In addition to the apartment building, a business center was also damaged in Krasnodar. "In the Central District, an apartment building and a neighboring business center sustained serious damage. The premises and grounds have been inspected for drone fragments. Rescuers are helping remove hazardous structures. They will then begin door-to-door inspections to assess the damage," the task force said in a post.

Furthermore, six homes were damaged in the Seversky District of Krasnodar Krai. "UAV debris fell on the property of four homes in the village of Afipsky. Damage was recorded in three of them—mostly broken windows and doors of buildings, and in one, a barn was on fire. Drone fragments also fell on the property of the Neftyanik SNT (SNT), including in the yards of seven homes. Three of these suffered damage—awnings, roofing, doors, and windows," the statement said.

Remember that residents of the villages of Afipsky and Ilsky in the Seversky district of Kuban, where oil refineries are located, regularly suffer from drone attacks. One of the recent fires caused by a drone strike occurred at the Afipsky Oil Refinery in mid-March.

More than 40 flights delayed at Krasnodar Airport

Forty-one flights are delayed at Krasnodar International Airport, according to the online flight board as of 11:30 a.m. Moscow time.
