A fire at the Afipsky oil refinery broke out after a drone attack.

During a drone attack in the Seversky District of Kuban, an oil refinery in the village of Afipsky caught fire.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of May 23, according to authorities, drone debris fell on the grounds of an oil depot in Novorossiysk, setting several technical and administrative buildings on fire. Two local residents were injured during the air strike and were hospitalized. A private home in Anapa was damaged.

Authorities in Krasnodar Krai reported on the consequences of another drone attack in the Seversky District. After UAV debris fell in the village of Afipsky, a fire broke out on the territory of a local oil refinery, the Kuban Operational Headquarters reported.

Drone fragments also damaged three private homes, setting an outbuilding on fire in one of them, and shattering windows in another. A gas main was also damaged during the attack.

"There are no preliminary casualties or injuries," the task force's Telegram channel reported.

The drone attack is also being reflected in Krasnodar, where sirens have been activated to alert residents, said Mayor Yevgeny Naumov. According to local residents, explosions have been heard in the skies above the city since 12:30 a.m. Moscow time, according to "Ostorozhno Novosti."

Further restrictions have been imposed at Krasnodar Airport since 11:52 p.m. Moscow time, Rosaviatsia reported. The airport does not handle scheduled passenger flights at night; they are only accepted between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Moscow time.

"Kavkazsky Uzel" also reported that a fire broke out at an oil depot in the suburbs of Tikhoretsk on the night of March 12 as a result of a drone attack. The fire, which covered 3,800 square meters, was extinguished on the morning of March 13. Sanitary authorities advised local residents to stay indoors and close their windows. Rospotrebnadzor detected exceeding permissible concentrations of harmful substances in the air. On the night of March 16, a fire also broke out at the oil depot in Labinsk.
