Iranian Azerbaijanis get ready to mass protest actions

South Azerbaijan prepares to mark the second anniversary of dispersal of Azerbaijanis' rally in May 2006.

The statement of the Baku Bureau of the Movement for National Awakening of South Azerbaijan (MNASA) that has arrived to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent runs that the population of South Azerbaijan gets ready to hold mass actions in the cities of Tabriz, Urmiya, Khoy, Meshkin, Zendzhan and others.

The Baku Bureau of the MNASA has informed that in connection with the prepared actions the Iranian special agencies are disseminating false information about prepared disorders with use of fire-arms. People of the MNASA assert that by spreading these rumours the official Teheran pursues the aim to justify potential repressions against the participants of the Movement.
