Igor Nikolaychuk has been stripped of his status as a retired judge.

The decision to terminate the resignation of former Deputy Chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Court Igor Nikolaychuk, from whom the court confiscated 13 billion rubles for the benefit of the state, was made by the Qualification Collegium of Judges of Kuban.

As reported by Caucasian Knot, at the end of February, a court in Krasnodar confiscated the property of Judge Igor Nikolaychuk and persons associated with him, totaling over 13 billion rubles, for the benefit of the state. On May 14, the appellate court upheld the seizure.

The Qualification Collegium of Judges of the Krasnodar Territory terminated the resignation of former Deputy Chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Court Igor Nikolaychuk, Kommersant reported on May 29.

Nikolaychuk's resignation was terminated on two grounds: failure to comply with restrictions imposed on judges and engaging in activities incompatible with the status of a judge. These grounds are stipulated by the Federal Law "On the Status of Judges in the Russian Federation."

After the resignation was terminated, Nikolaychuk lost the immunity guarantees and benefits granted to retired judges.

As a reminder, the Krasnodar Prosecutor's Office filed an anti-corruption lawsuit against Nikolaychuk in late January 2026. Fifteen more individuals and one organization were named as defendants in the Nikolaychuk case.
