A Krasnodar resident has been accused of displaying Nazi symbols.

A 25-year-old Krasnodar resident has become a defendant in a criminal case for the repeated public display of Nazi paraphernalia and symbols.

According to investigators, in October 2025, the accused, while living in Krasnodar, posted photographs of himself on his social media page, which featured tattoos with the symbols of an extremist organization banned in Russia.

Moreover, he had previously been held administratively liable for a similar offense, the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory reported today on its Telegram channel.

During interrogation, the accused admitted his guilt. Investigators conducted a search of his residence, during which mobile devices and other items relevant to the criminal case were seized.

He is accused of repeatedly promoting and publicly displaying Nazi paraphernalia and symbols 1 . "Investigative actions in the criminal case are ongoing," the department said in a statement.

The investigation is not naming the accused. It also does not specify on which social media platform the photographs were posted.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the cassation court refused to overturn the sentence of a Sochi teacher for publishing a Nazi-era propaganda poster on a social media platform.
