A Tuapse resident negotiated a meeting with the mayor regarding repairs to her burned-out apartment.

Tuapse resident Evgeniya Tretyakova, whose apartment burned down after a drone attack six months ago, held a picket outside the administration building today. District Head Sergei Boyko met with the woman and promised to provide her with temporary housing while her apartment was being renovated.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," Tuapse resident Evgeniya Tretyakova's apartment was completely destroyed by fire after a drone attack on November 25, forcing her to move into rented accommodation. At the end of April, Evgeniya told a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that she had not been provided with temporary housing for five months. "I've been renting an apartment for five months at my own expense. I haven't been provided with temporary housing. We've appealed to the authorities for help, but they're turning a deaf ear," the woman complained.

Today, Evgeniya Tretyakova went to the Tuapse District Administration demanding that her apartment, destroyed exactly six months ago in a drone attack, be restored. She held a sign: “Tuapse, Kommunisticheskaya 14. Mother and child 6 months without housing. Boyko, how much longer must we wait?”

Tretyakova published a video message on her Telegram channel, "Clean in Tuapse." The destroyed apartment was Tretyakova's only home, where she lived with her minor daughter.

"I ask that my picket today be viewed not as a plea for help, but as a demand that the head of the Tuapse District and his team fulfill their duties honestly, conscientiously, and on time. On camera, he (Sergey Boyko) promises to restore housing to all victims, but in reality, I have been unable to return to normal life for six months: no temporary housing, no apartment restoration," the woman stated in the video.

She noted that the roof restoration work on her building was supposed to be completed by May 16, but it still hasn't been completed. The municipal contract, worth over 24 million rubles, only covered the roofing work, not the restoration of Tretyakova's apartment.

"Our roof is still covered with a technical film. In my opinion, this is nothing more than a negligent use of budget funds," the protester emphasized. She added that she receives formal replies to her inquiries to officials, and "the head of the city is declining personal meetings."

Officials responded to Tretyakova's demand for a meeting with Sergei Boyko, which she voiced at the picket. "I stood there with a sign for about half an hour, and the response was quite quick. We met with the head informally and agreed that an official videotaped meeting, where the head will answer my questions, will take place today," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Following his meeting with Evgenia Tretyakova, Boyko published an explanation on his official channel regarding the delays in completing the roof restoration contract. "Out of the 100 days allocated for the work, 44 were rainy and windy. In such weather, for safety reasons, a crane cannot work at height. There are social facilities nearby—kindergartens and an ambulance station," the official wrote.

Boyko set a new deadline for "completing the full roof repair" and appointed his deputy, David Kirichenko, responsible for the work. "Yevgenia and I will inspect the site together every week," the head of the district stated.

Furthermore, Sergei Boyko promised to provide Tretyakova with temporary housing, stating that she had been "offered several addresses" to choose from.
