Residents of Adygea's homes and yards are flooded after heavy rains.

In the Maykop district, 20 yards and three homes were flooded after heavy rains.

Heavy rains caused flooding in the Krasnooktyabrsky rural settlement of the Maykop district, TASS reported today, citing the district administration's press service.

The Maykop district administration explained on its Telegram channel that groundwater and stormwater levels have risen in the settlement.

"The water primarily affected vegetable gardens, but some homes were also affected. According to preliminary data, 20 yards and three homes were flooded," the publication stated.

District and rural administration staff, "together with specialists from relevant agencies," are surveying the areas, authorities reported.

"Additionally, road equipment has been deployed to address the aftermath of the heavy rains," the statement noted. As of 3:52 PM Moscow time, no comments have been posted, although the comment feature is enabled.
