Authorities reported extinguishing the fire in the port of Tuapse.

The body of the girl presumed dead in Tuapse has not yet been found. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble. Some residents remain in the hotel. Firefighting efforts at the sea terminal are also ongoing, with more than 170 people involved.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", two people were killed and seven more were injured in Tuapse as a result of a drone attack on the night of April 16. Initially, authorities reported that the dead were children aged five and 14; later in the day, the governor of Kuban clarified that a 14-year-old girl and an adult woman had died. Tuapse residents reported that after the attack "the whole sky was in smoke," and the smell of burning was felt in the city throughout the day. During the drone attack in Tuapse, 60 residential buildings and three public facilities were damaged. Five private homes were completely destroyed. Authorities reported a fire at the marine terminal. Unofficial reports indicate the Tuapse Oil Refinery is on fire.

In Tuapse, rescuers have failed to find a teenage girl buried under rubble, presumed dead after a drone attack on a residential building. According to Baza, the rescue operation lasted 24 hours, with staff and volunteers digging through the rubble to find the child. The search was complicated by the region's conditions—it was impossible to send heavy rescue equipment to the mountainous terrain. However, after clearing the area where the drone struck the house, the girl's body was never found. A survey of the surrounding areas is currently underway, Baza reports.

Forty-four people and approximately 10 pieces of equipment are involved in clearing the rubble of destroyed houses. Civil Defense and Emergencies Department specialists continue to respond to citizen inquiries. According to municipal head Sergei Boyko, damage assessment commissions will continue their work this coming weekend—April 18th and 19th, the Krasnodar Krai task force reported.
 
Those left homeless have been relocated to temporary housing; for now, they are staying in a hotel. The temporary accommodation center remains open, but is currently unoccupied.
 
In the Varvarinka area, a water main damaged by drone debris is being repaired. Several heating networks damaged in the attack on the night of April 16 have been repaired.

177 people and 56 pieces of equipment, including from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Krasnodar Territory, have been deployed to extinguish the fire caused by the drone attack on the night of April 16, the Krasnodar Territory task force reported.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists conducted laboratory air tests: maximum one-time concentrations of pollutants at all measurement points do not exceed hygienic standards, the report states.
