The prosecutor's office has sent a criminal case to court against the former director of the Directorate of the Single State Customer-Developer in Dagestan.

"The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Dagestan has approved the indictment in the criminal case against the former director of the state institution of the Republic of Dagestan 'Directorate of the Single State Customer-Developer.' He is charged under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code (accepting a bribe). The criminal case has been sent to the Leninsky District Court of Makhachkala," the prosecutor's office said in a statement, as quoted by TASS.

According to the investigation, between 2022 and 2023, the accused received over 7 million rubles from the head of a commercial organization for assistance in obtaining a positive state expert opinion on the construction of a rural community center, as well as in concluding state contracts for the supply of equipment to educational institutions. institutions.

As a reminder, the court previously arrested the head of the territorial department of the Rospotrebnadzor office in Khasavyurt, suspected of extorting a bribe in exchange for a positive sanitary and epidemiological report.
