An Armenian man has been charged with inciting violence for cursing Pashinyan.

An Armenian resident has been charged with inciting violence after he wished for a drone to crash into the plane carrying Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife.

Armenian citizen S.A. has been charged with cursing Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Last December, a post was published on Facebook* stating that the plane carrying Pashinyan and his wife, Anna Hakobyan, was unable to land in Moscow. The citizen in question expressed a desire for a drone to shoot down an airplane, News.am reported on March 23.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia initiated proceedings under Article 330, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Armenian Criminal Code (public calls for violence, justification, or propaganda of violence on the internet). Three months later, S.A. was charged. A ban on absence has been imposed on the man, meaning he is prohibited from leaving his place of residence or another designated location.

Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that blogger Hayk Yegyan, known on TikTok as "Aivazovsky," was arrested at the end of February on charges of insulting Pashinyan.
