A fighter from North Ossetia was killed in Ukraine.

Vladimir Gimos from the Mozdok district was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 565 fighters from North Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by March 9, at least 564 fighters from North Ossetia had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine. That day, the Mozdok district administration reported that Oleksiy Klopota had been killed in Ukraine.

At least 4,355 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,496 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Vladimir Gimos, born in 1998, was killed in the military operation, the Mozdok District Administration reported on its Telegram channel on March 12.

The administration did not provide details about the fighter's biography or death, noting only that he died "while performing combat missions."

Thus, at least 565 fighters from North Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Northern Military District Statistics: Casualties Are Mounting for Southern Russia."

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on Channel One do not guarantee state support for the families of those killed, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Three Comrades Served: How Authorities Are Denying Benefits to Families of Killed Volunteers," which describes the stories of soldiers from other regions. "As a family of military pensioners, I receive only twelve thousand rubles a month for two minor children," fumed the widow of Vasily Shtylun, who received five million rubles from the "Veterans" unit for her slain husband.
