Drone wreckage found in four districts of Kuban

Debris from drones shot down at various times were found in Anapa, Sochi, the Abinsky District, and Krymsk. Some of them damaged houses and infrastructure.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the morning of March 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that four UAVs had been shot down over the Krasnodar Krai.

On March 8, fragments of downed drones were found in several districts of the Krasnodar Krai. According to the regional task force, drone fragments were found at five addresses in Anapa: the village of Varvarovka, the hamlet of Usatova Balka, and the village of Anapskaya. Windows were damaged in two private homes.

In the Abinsky District, drone fragments damaged windows in five apartments, and additional fragments were found on one street.

In Krymsk, drone fragments damaged windows in two homes.

Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin reported drone fragments found in various areas of the city. In the Adler District, fragments damaged the windows of a scheduled bus; passengers were uninjured. A contact line was damaged on the railway tracks near Loo Station.

Last night, a fire broke out at an oil depot in Armavir following a drone attack. According to the Krasnodar Krai task force, there were no casualties. The fire was contained to an area of ​​700 square meters in the morning and then extinguished.

In September 2025, the Krasnodar Krai imposed a ban on disseminating information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as on filming air defense systems, military installations, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense systems. The "Caucasian Knot" has published the corresponding bill of the regional legislative assembly.
