A fighter from Dagestan was killed in a military operation.

Shakhmirza Tagirov from the Magaramkent district was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,839 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by March 5, at least 1,838 fighters from Dagestan had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Shakhmirza Tagirov from the village of Magaramkent was killed in the military operation, the Magaramkent district administration reported on its Telegram channel on March 6. Details of the fighter's biography and death are not provided in the publication.

Thus, at least 1,839 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

Losses in southern Russia in Ukraine have exceeded 8,800 people

"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
