Two fighters from Ingushetia were killed in Ukraine.

Muslim Katsiev and Akhmed Merzhoev from the Nazran district were killed in the fighting. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, at least 183 Ingush soldiers have been officially recognized as killed in the operation.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by February 24, at least 181 Ingush soldiers had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Muslim Katsiev and Akhmed Merzhoev, soldiers killed in military action, were buried in Nazran and in the rural settlement of Ekazhevo in the Nazran District, the press service of the head and government of Ingushetia reported on its Telegram channel on March 5.

Akhmed Merzhoev, 45, and Muslim Katsiev, 37, voluntarily went to the special operation zone. The former served in an assault brigade in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The second was killed while carrying out a combat mission during the assault on a building in the village of Rovnoye, the Ingushetia newspaper reported.

Thus, at least 183 fighters from Ingushetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
