Five victims of the shooting remain in a Yerevan hospital.

One of six patients hospitalized from the scene of the shootout in Yerevan's Ajapnyak district has been discharged from the hospital. Investigators have reported the criminal prosecution of 12 participants in the incident.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," a shootout between two groups of people occurred on February 18 in a courtyard between apartment buildings on Abelyan Street in Yerevan's Ajapnyak district. Seven people were hospitalized with injuries, one of whom, 45-year-old Yerevan resident Arsen Vardanyan, died from his wounds.

Five people injured in the shooting remain in the hospital, according to Ashot Kurginyan, Deputy Director of Surgery at the Arenia Medical Center.

He explained that one victim was discharged several days ago. "Five are continuing treatment." They are recovering from the surgery and have no health issues of concern," News.am quoted him as saying today.

Twelve participants in the shooting incident are listed as suspects in the criminal case, the Investigative Committee of Armenia reported on February 21.

According to the agency, one of them is suspected of murder, seven counts of attempted murder, hooliganism, and illegal use of a weapon.

In addition, 11 more participants in the incident have been identified. As part of the investigation, searches were conducted at more than 40 addresses in Yerevan, during which "items relevant to the investigation" were seized, Novosti-Armenia quoted the agency as saying.
