An employee of the Kabardino-Balkarian Ministry of Construction is suspected of official forgery.

The head of a department of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Kabardino-Balkaria is suspected of falsifying documents for the acceptance of a multi-story residential building that was built with violations.

According to investigators, in July 2025, the head of the Nalchik inspection department of the regional state construction supervision department of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the region knowingly provided false information in an unscheduled on-site inspection report regarding the compliance of a ten-unit apartment building in Nalchik with design documentation requirements.

According to investigators, the suspect signed and issued the developer's report, knowingly aware of numerous technical violations and non-compliance with building codes committed by the construction company, the Investigative Committee of Kabardino-Balkaria reported today on its Telegram channel.

The case is being investigated under Part 2 of Article 292 of the Russian Criminal Code (official forgery resulting in a significant violation of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens). 1 .
