The military shot down 50 drones in three regions of the Southern Federal District.

The Ministry of Defense reported 45 drones shot down overnight in the Krasnodar Territory, three in the Rostov Region, and two in the Astrakhan Region. Another eight drones were shot down over the Azov and Black Seas.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," a multi-story building was damaged by a drone attack last night in the village of Novaya Adygeya in the Takhtamukaysky District. Eleven people were injured, including two children, nine of whom were hospitalized. Residents of the building have been evacuated to a temporary accommodation center, and a state of emergency has been declared at the district level.

From 11:00 PM Moscow time on January 20 to 7:00 AM Moscow time, air defense systems on duty destroyed 75 Ukrainian drones, including 45 over Krasnodar Krai, three in Rostov Oblast, and two in Astrakhan Oblast, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, another drone was destroyed over the Sea of ​​Azov, and seven over the Black Sea. The remaining UAVs were shot down in the Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh regions, as well as in Crimea.

Adygea is not mentioned on the Defense Ministry's list. It should be noted that Adygea is an enclave region: its territory is surrounded on all sides by Krasnodar Krai.

Last night, UAVs were destroyed in Taganrog, as well as in the Kamensky and Tarasovsky districts of the Rostov Region, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel. "There were no reports of casualties or damage on the ground," he wrote.

Fragments of a drone fell near a private home.

In the Krasnodar Territory, "drone debris" was found in two villages in the Seversky District; there were no casualties, the regional task force reported on its Telegram channel.

"In the village of Afipsky, fragments of a drone fell near a private home. In this case, there was no damage. In the village of Lvovsky, fragments of a drone damaged an outbuilding. A fire occurred, which was quickly extinguished," the publication said.

The governor of the Astrakhan Region, as of 10:10 Moscow time, had not reported any drone attacks overnight on his Telegram channel.

As a reminder, in the Rostov Region A ban has been imposed on filming aerial attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military unit locations in the Rostov Region. A corresponding decree of the Rostov Region Governor was published on the "Caucasian Knot."

On January 3, drones were destroyed in Taganrog and the Neklinovsky District. In the village of Nikolayevo-Otradnoye, a blast wave blew out the window of a private home. Three drones were shot down over the Rostov Region, the Ministry of Defense reported that day.
