Searches were conducted at the home of the head of a Kuban district who was offended by a pensioner.

Due to design violations in a home for the disabled, law enforcement officials conducted searches at the home of Maxim Bondarenko, head of the Primorsko-Akhtarsky District, who was attempting to sue a pensioner for 300,000 rubles for online comments.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," in 2025, Maxim Bondarenko, head of the Primorsko-Akhtarsky District, filed a lawsuit against pensioner Margarita Belykh, offended by her online comments. The official demanded reimbursement of approximately 300,000 rubles in legal costs. The court partially upheld the claim and ordered the 80-year-old pensioner to pay the district head 85,000 rubles.

Security forces conducted searches at the home of Maxim Bondarenko, head of the Primorsko-Akhtarsky District, 93.ru reports today.

According to the publication, the searches are related to the construction of a 2 billion ruble social services center for people with disabilities in the village of Novonekrasovsky. The 150-bed facility was built beginning in 2023 under the national "Demography" project. The construction was overseen by former Vice Governor Anna Minkova, who now heads the regional television channel Kuban 24.

Moreover, the project was decided to be built on an unsuitable site, and the engineering work was carried out in violation of regulations, the publication writes.

As of 3:05 PM Moscow time, the regional Investigative Committee's website has not published any information about the criminal case against the official.
