Grozny City Hall attributed the closure of Staropromyslovskoye Highway to the construction of an interchange.

Traffic has been temporarily restricted on a section of the Staropromyslovskoye Highway in Grozny due to the start of construction on a traffic interchange, the mayor's office announced. The section of highway where, according to sources, Adam Kadyrov was involved in an accident has been closed.

Staropromyslovskoye Highway will be completely closed from Nazarbayev Street to Tasuyev Street. The closure will remain in effect until construction is completed. This measure is necessary for the safe and prompt construction of the future interchange, which will ensure traffic-light-free traffic and significantly reduce congestion at the key intersection, the Grozny mayor's office announced today on Telegram.

The mayor's office urged drivers to plan their trips in advance and follow posted road signs and directions. Recommended detour routes: New Putin Avenue, Tasuyev Street, Trosheva Street, and Malgobekskaya Street.

The mayor's office apologized for the temporary inconvenience and asked for residents and visitors' understanding. It is noted that these measures are aimed primarily at ensuring the safety of road users.
