The head physician of a hospital in Ingushetia was fired for concealing income.

The prosecutor's office successfully sued to dismiss the chief physician of the Nazran District Hospital, who provided false information about his income.

The chief physician of the Nazran District Hospital was dismissed due to loss of trust.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Ingushetia, the chief physician failed to report income in excess of 1.2 million rubles in certificates for 2022, which he illegally obtained from another person as a result of fraudulent activity. Furthermore, according to the agency, in 2023, he misreported his income from his primary job, understating it by 41,000 rubles, RIA Novosti reported on December 30.

The prosecutor's office filed a motion with the regional Ministry of Health to terminate the chief physician's employment contract due to a loss of trust stemming from his criminal prosecution and concealment of income. The Ministry of Health, however, decided to limit itself to a reprimand, after which the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit to declare the agency's actions illegal.

The court fully satisfied the prosecutor's office's demands, its decision was executed, and the head physician was dismissed due to loss of confidence.
