Five Dagestani soldiers have been declared dead in Ukraine.

The authorities of the Derbent district reported the transfer of awards to the relatives of five soldiers killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 1,735 soldiers from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by December 19, at least 1,730 soldiers from Dagestan were officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

In the Derbent district, awards were presented to the relatives of servicemen killed in the military operation, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel on December 19.

The publication named Captain Manaf Rimikhanov from the village of Rubas, Corporal Khamraza Magomedkhanov from the village of Rukel, Privates Kinyaz Seidov from the village of Kala, Alisultan Abdullaev from the village of Mamedkala, and Nurbaly Dzhafarov from the village of Khazar as killed.
