Dozens of property loss claims filed by Taganrog residents following a drone attack

20 Taganrog residents applied for financial assistance due to the total loss of property following a drone attack on November 25. Six hundred thirty-five applications for one-time payments were also accepted.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on November 25, three people were injured in a drone attack in Taganrog and the village of Bessergenevskaya in the Rostov Region. Two apartment buildings and one private home, as well as parked cars, were damaged in the city. A warehouse caught fire in an industrial zone. A private home caught fire in the village of Petrushino, and a gas pipeline near a private home was damaged in the village of Veselo-Voznesenka. A drone attack in the Rostov Region on November 25 killed four people and injured eight more.

It was initially estimated that 451 apartments were damaged, but new reports have been received today, increasing the total. 283 damaged apartments have already been inspected, and damage assessment commission specialists are continuing their door-to-door inspections, Taganrog Mayor Svetlana Kambulova announced today on her Telegram channel.

Currently, 227 of the 325 damaged windows have been sent for repairs. Door-to-door inspections are ongoing, and the number of damaged windows will be determined.

The mayor also announced that the administration is accepting applications from residents for assistance. According to her, 635 applications have been submitted for a one-time payment and 20 for financial assistance for the total loss of property. "As a result of the enemy attack, nine apartments were completely lost," the report stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" also reported that on the night of November 29, eight fires occurred in Taganrog as a result of drone attacks. No one was injured, but a private home burned down, and an apartment building and a technical school dormitory were damaged. Residents of the dormitory were evacuated to a temporary accommodation center. In addition to Taganrog, drones were destroyed in the Kamensky, Millerovsky, Azovsky, and Dubovsky districts of the Rostov Region.
