Officials have announced the name of a Dagestani resident killed during a military operation.

Timur Mutallapov was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have publicly acknowledged the death of at least 1,631 servicemen from Dagestan.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by October 30, at least 1,630 soldiers from Dagestan had been officially acknowledged as killed in the military operation.

Information about the death of Timur Mutallapov, a native of the village of Nariman, became known from a report on the presentation of the Order of Courage to his family. It is emphasized that the award was given to his daughter, an eighth-grade student. "Timur Mutallapov also leaves behind a son, Abdul Aziz, a fourth-year student at the Mikhailovsky Military Academy in St. Petersburg," reads a statement published on the Nogai District administration's Telegram channel.
