Vitaly Kushnarev's property has been seized by the state.

The court ordered the former deputy governor of the Rostov region, Vitaly Kushnarev, and his wife to pay the state over 160 million rubles.

"Caucasian Knot" reported that security forces detained the deputy governor and transport minister of the Rostov region, Vitaly Kushnarev, and his deputy in a bribery case. According to sources, Kushnarev confessed. His case was sent to court on March 28. In late September, the court remanded Kushnarev in custody until early January of next year, and his property was also seized.

The Kirovsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don has seized the property of former Deputy Governor and former head of the Rostov Region Ministry of Transport, Vitaly Kushnarev, for state control, RBC reported on October 25.

In total, more than 160 million rubles have been recovered. 102.2 million rubles were recovered from Kushnarev himself as income "received from sources not provided for by law," and another 63.5 million rubles were recovered from his wife. The decision has not yet entered into force.
