Three soldiers from Adygea were killed in a military operation.

Dmitry Trubkin, Oleg Shaftelsky, and Aslan Achmizov were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 127 fighters from Adygea have been officially recognized as killed.

The Maykop District Administration announced the presentation of posthumous awards to three participants in the military operation in Ukraine.
 
Dmitry Trubkin signed a contract and went to the special operation zone in July 2024. He took part in combat operations to storm fortified areas. 
 
Oleg Shaftelsky left for the SVO zone in April 2024. He carried out combat missions as a machine gunner. As part of his unit, he came under mortar fire and was mortally wounded.
 
Aslan Achmizov served under contract as a senior gunner in August 2024. He took part in defensive and offensive operations in the SVO zone. Killed in October 2024.

This brings the number of Adygea servicemen officially recognized as killed in the Ukrainian conflict zone to 124. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "NVO Statistics: Losses Are Growing in Southern Russia".
