The names of five Dagestani soldiers killed in Ukraine have been released.

Abdula Akhmedkhanov, Roman Samedov, and three of their fellow countrymen from the Magaramkent district were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially recognized at least 1,610 fighters from Dagestan as killed there.

According to the "Caucasian Knot," as of October 23, at least 1,605 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the combat zone in Ukraine.

The names of the five soldiers killed in Ukraine were released by the Magaramkent district administration, which reported presenting posthumous awards to their relatives.  

Ekhtibar Magomedov, Asret Asretov, Erziman Khametov, Abdula Akhmedkhanov, and Roman Samedov were killed in the combat zone in Ukraine. All of them were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, according to a post on the municipality's official Telegram channel.

Thus, at least 1,610 soldiers from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list is based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Northeastern Military District Statistics: Casualties Are Mounting for Southern Russia."
