Power has been restored to homes in Novoshakhtinsk.

Specialists have restored power to Novoshakhtinsk residents' homes, which was interrupted overnight by a drone attack.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," apartment buildings, a kindergarten, and a technical school were left without power overnight in Novoshakhtinsk due to a fire caused by a drone attack. By morning, approximately 1,500 people remained without power.

By 1:30 p.m. Moscow time, emergency restoration work on the "electrical installation damaged by the fire" was completed, Novoshakhtinsk Mayor Sergei Bondarenko reported on his Telegram channel at 2:21 p.m. Moscow time. "Electricity is being supplied in full," he wrote.

Earlier, at 12:05 Moscow time, the official reported that "slightly more than 500" Novoshakhtinsk residents remained without power "due to an overnight incident."

As of 3:55 Moscow time, no comments had been posted under the mayor's posts, although the commenting feature was enabled.

As a reminder, the military shot down drones overnight in Novoshakhtinsk and Taganrog, as well as in the Krasnosulinsky, Myasnikovsky, Kamensky, Zimovnikovsky, Tarasovsky, Millerovsky, Kuibyshevsky, and Sholokhovsky districts of the Rostov Region. According to the Ministry of Defense, 34 UAVs were neutralized in the region overnight.
