One woman was injured in the explosion, TASS reported, citing a source in the emergency services. The scene on Serov Street, where the 247th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment is located, has been cordoned off by Interior Ministry and military police officers. The injured woman was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds to the thigh and lower leg, Baza reports.

The explosive device was planted in a baby stroller, Kommersant reported, citing its sources. The investigation has not yet determined the classification of the incident, but possible theories include attempted terrorism, and sabotage, SHOT reports. Authorities and law enforcement agencies have not released any official reports on the incident.
