Twelve fighters from the Volgograd region have been identified as killed in Ukraine.

In the Sredneakhtubinsky district, awards were presented to the relatives of 12 soldiers killed in combat operations in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,442 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by October 20, at least 1,430 soldiers from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

At least 7,700 soldiers from southern Russia have been officially recognized as killed during the special military operation, including 3,823 from the North Caucasus Federal District and 3,877 from the Southern Federal District.

On October 16, awards were presented to the relatives of soldiers killed in the military operation, the Sredneakhtubinsky District administration reported on its Telegram channel.

The publication named privates Yevgeny Shchurkin, Vladimir Matyushkov, and Nazir as killed. Nazarov, Denis Korotkov, Andrey Goltyapin, Vladimir Shiryaev, Yegor Shishlyannikov, Eduard Penkov, Yuri Vaskin, Junior Sergeant Sergei Filippov, Corporals Denis Kondrashov and Valery Karapetyan.

Thus, at least 1,442 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
