The military counted seven drones shot down in southern Russia.

The Ministry of Defense reported that one drone was shot down overnight in the Volgograd region, and six more were destroyed over the Black Sea. Sochi authorities have cancelled the drone attack threat issued overnight.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", according to military data, a drone was destroyed in the Bokovsky District, Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar announced this morning.

Last night, air defense systems on duty destroyed 41 Ukrainian drones, including one in the Volgograd Region and six over the Black Sea, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, the remaining drones were shot down outside the Southern Federal District: in the Bryansk, Kaluga, Moscow, Belgorod, Oryol, Kursk, Ryazan, Tambov, Tula, and Samara Regions and in Bashkiria.

The department did not mention the Rostov Region in its morning report, but had previously reported that one drone was shot down there between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM Moscow time on October 17.

A drone attack threat was issued in Sochi overnight. This morning, Mayor Andrei Proshunin cancelled the attack threat, the Kuban task force reported on its Telegram channel.

As a reminder, on the night of October 17, the military intercepted drones in Novoshakhtinsk, Millerovsky, Belokalitvinsky, Krasnosulinsky, and Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky districts of the Rostov Region. According to the Ministry of Defense, 13 drones were shot down in the region.
