The names of 11 combatants from Karachay-Cherkessia killed in the war zone have been released.

Eleven soldiers from the Zelenchuksky district were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have named at least 174 soldiers from Karachay-Cherkessia killed there.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, by October 14, officials and security forces officially called at least 163 fighters from Karachay-Cherkessia killed in Ukraine.

The number of fighters from southern Russia killed in Ukraine has exceeded 7,650

7,658 fighters from southern Russia have been officially recognized as killed during the special military operation, including 3,795 from the North Caucasus Federal District and 3,863 from the Southern Federal District.

The deaths of Alexander Bagnychev, Rasul Kaitov, Dmitry Gubin, Vladimir Kochkarov, Alexander Polyakov, Daut Adzhiev, Ruslan Tambiev, Mikhail Abakumov, Igor Sereda, Ivan Deneka, and Oleg Mizikov were announced when the Order of Courage and the Zhukov Medal were presented to their families. Biographical details of those killed were published today on the Telegram channel of the Zelenchuk Municipal District administration.

Thus, at least 174 servicemen from Karachay-Cherkessia have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. The "Caucasian Knot" is maintaining a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.

The list is based on data officially released by government officials and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Northeastern Military District Statistics: Casualties Are Mounting for Southern Russia."
