Electricity supply has been restored to villages in the Volgograd region.

Power workers have restored power to three settlements in the Volgograd region that were knocked out by a drone attack.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," power supply to three settlements in the Svetloyarsky district was disrupted last night as a result of a drone attack. Repair crews are working on the power line, said Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov.

Repair crews have restored power to three villages in the Svetloyarsky District, disrupted by drone attacks, a regional administration press service official reported.

"Power has been restored to all villages," Interfax quotes him as saying.

The villages of Chervlenoye and Chapurniki, as well as the village of Kirov, were affected by the outage, the agency reports.

As a reminder, drone attacks were also recorded last night in five districts of the Rostov Region. As a result, "grass caught fire in a field" in the Chertkovsky District, but the fire was quickly extinguished. Two wildfires broke out in the Tarasovsky District, both of which were contained by morning. No one was injured, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported.

Flight restrictions were imposed at airports in Volgograd, Krasnodar, and Stavropol last night . Rosaviatsiya press secretary Artem Korenyako explained the ban as necessary to ensure flight safety. The restrictions were later lifted.
