An aviation hazard has been declared in the Krasnodar region.

Authorities warned residents of Kuban about the threat of falling explosive devices and urged them to take shelter indoors.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the afternoon of September 28, authorities warned residents of Kuban about the threat of falling missiles. The threat was later canceled.

An aviation hazard has been declared in Krasnodar Krai; residents received a notification about it in the Ministry of Emergency Situations app, RIA Novosti reports. "An 'Aviation hazard' has been declared in the Krasnodar Krai," the statement quoted from the notification.

There is a threat of falling explosive devices, the regional warning center warned. "There is a threat of falling explosive devices. If you are in a building, move away from the windows and take shelter in a secure area (basement, protective structure). "If you are outside, seek shelter in the nearest secure building," 93.ru quoted the message as saying.

The Kuban emergency response headquarters, as of 9:55 a.m. Moscow time, had not reported any aviation hazards on its Telegram channel.

As a reminder, on September 24, after drones and unmanned boats attacked central Novorossiysk, two people were killed and 12 others were injured. Seven apartment buildings and a hotel were damaged.

On September 26, a drone attack in the Seversky District of Kuban resulted in a fire at the Afipsky Oil Refinery. UAV fragments were also found on the street in a village in the Temryuk District.
