Kuban authorities announced a test of warning systems amid UAV attacks.

On the morning of October 1, warning systems in the Krasnodar Krai will be tested. Sirens are expected to sound between 10:30 and 11:00 Moscow time, and informational announcements will be broadcast on television and radio channels.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," the Krasnodar Krai is regularly subject to attacks by drones and unmanned boats. For example, on September 24, after a drone and unmanned boat attack on the center of Novorossiysk, two people were killed and another 12 were injured. Seven apartment buildings and a hotel were damaged.

A scheduled test of warning systems in the Krasnodar Krai will include the activation of sirens and the interception of television and radio signals, the Krasnodar Krai administration reported. "The inspection will be conducted on October 1 from 10:30 to 11:00. Residents and visitors of the Krasnodar Territory are asked to remain calm," the statement said.

Authorities explained that the sound of the sirens is a civil defense warning signal, which means "Attention everyone!" This signal requires that you tune your television to one of 10 national public television channels (Channel One, Rossiya-1, Match TV, NTV, Channel Five, Rossiya-K, Rossiya-24, Karusel, OTR, and TV Center), wired broadcast receivers to the first program of Radio Rossiya, and over-the-air broadcast receivers to the Radio Rossiya channel, and listen to a special message from the Krasnodar Territory administration," the statement said.
