A soldier from Ingushetia was killed in the SVO zone.

Timur Esmurziev was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have named at least 147 Ingush soldiers killed there.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by September 19, authorities and security officials had officially recognized at least 146 Ingush soldiers killed in Ukraine.

The funeral of serviceman Timur Esmurziev, who died in the zone of a special military operation while carrying out combat missions, was held in the village of Ekazhevo. The family of the deceased was visited by Deputy Prime Minister of Ingushetia Magomed Yevloyev, as well as representatives of the Republic of Ingushetia's government, the Ingush government press service reported on its Telegram channel.

Timur Esmurziev was 37 years old and served in Military Unit No. 34670 of the Russian Ground Forces as a driver-mechanic, the press service clarified.

Thus, at least 147 combatants from Ingushetia have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially announced by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the Central Military District: Losses are growing for the south of Russia".
