United Russia member declared winner of by-election to Kalmykia parliament

In the by-election of the deputy of the People's Khural of Kalmykia, the winner was declared the candidate from "United Russia" Sanal Bembeev, who received more than 80% of the votes.

On September 14, by-elections of the deputy of the republican parliament (People's Khural) were held in Kalmykia. Also, in all 13 districts of Kalmykia, local elections of deputies of district and village assemblies were held, and in the Baga-Chonosovsky SMO - the election of the head.

The Kalmykia Electoral Commission recognized the by-election of the deputy of the People's Khural and all local elections on September 14 as valid. According to the commission, 352 observers monitored the voting process.

Sanal Bembeev, nominated by the United Russia party, was declared the winner of the fight for the mandate of the deputy of parliament in district #11. He received 80.38% or 5,330 votes with a turnout of 59.39% - a total of 6,631 voters voted in the by-elections. 634 voters (9.56%) voted for Ekaterina Shakhanova from the LDPR, 602 voters (9.08%) voted for Boris Khamaev from the A Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth party, according to the official report of the Electoral Commission of Kalmykia.

According to Fedorchenko, the turnout in the elections to district and rural assemblies of deputies averaged 49.9%. The lowest turnout - 32.47% - was recorded in the Gorodovikovskiy district. In the same area, a certain Polyakov complained about the actions of the territorial election commission, but the press service of the Kalmykia Electoral Commission did not specify the essence of his complaint and the result of its consideration.
